2023 Rock the Dock Fluke Tournament

*The tournament is held rain or shine. In the event that the weather is deemed unsafe for fishing vessels, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday the 3rd, all registrants will have the option to fish Sunday or can opt to have their registration and fees completely refunded.
Registration Types
Private Vessel: Up to 6 anglers, including captain and crew $225 (chartered vessels and guides may fish, but the crew limits may not be exceeded)
Single Angler: Kayak, Land Based, or fishing aboard the Miss Beach Haven Party Boat $100 (Anglers are responsible for booking their own spot on the Miss Beach Haven)
Single Angler Mary M: Fishing aboard the Mary M charter boat, cost includes boat fare and gratuity for mate. (Limited Space Available) $200
Tournament Fees: You will pay a fee upon checkout at the time of registration. This fee is used to offset credit card processing fees, website costs and other costs associated with running and promoting the tournament.
Fishing Times
The tournament begins with registration and check in from 6-7am. Boats/Anglers may not begin fishing until the checkin process is completed. (Vessels and cooler will be inspected and checked prior to fishing) Check in locations include Vans in Barnegat Light and the Beach Haven Yacht Club Marina

Weigh ins and Awards will be held at The Boot Yard Causeway Marina
Weigh-ins 2:30-3:30

Prizes and Calcutta’s
Prizes are based on the number of boats entered into the tournament. (Estimated payouts based on 40 boas entries and 60% participation in the Calcutta. These estimates are based on 2021 and 2022 NJ Fishing Club tournament registrations)
*Registrants may win only one prize in each category; Heaviest Fluke, Heaviest Fluke Ladies, Heaviest Fluke Jr and Youth, Heaviest Slot Fish, Party Boat, Land/Kayak.
Tournament Prizes
Heaviest Fluke Limit: (2 Slot Fish and 1 Over)
1st Place: $3,200 based on 40 boats
2nd Place: $2,000 based on 40 boats
3rd Place: $1,200 based on 40 boats
4th Place: $800 based on 40 boats
5th Place: Prize Package TBD

Heaviest Single Fluke Prizes
1st Place Lady Angler: Prize Package TBD (Fish must be hooked and landed unassisted (anyone can net the fish) by lady angler.)
1st Place Jr Angler: Prize Packages TBD (Fish must be hooked and landed unassisted (anyone can net the fish) by angler 12-16 years old.)
1st Place Youth Angler: Prize Packages TBD (Fish must be hooked and landed unassisted (anyone can net the fish) by angler 12 years old or younger.)
1st Place Party Boat Fish ($40 from each party boat entrant will be reserved for this prize payout. (Estimated $800 based on 20 anglers)
1st Place Land/Kayak Fish ($40 from each land based and Kayak angler will be reserved for this prize payout) (Estimated $800 based on 20 anglers)
Calcutta
The Calcutta is an optional entry in addition to the tournament fee. Calcutta prizes pay out only to those who enter by paying the additional Calcutta fee.
Our Calcutta is a single entry with 5 possible payouts.
Private Vessel Fee: $300
Single Angler Fee: $100
90% of the monies collected from the Calcutta are paid out. 10% of the monies collected from the Calcutta go to the fishing club.
Calcutta Payouts:
1st Place Heaviest Single Fluke: 25% (Estimated $2,500 based on 60% participation)
2nd Place Heaviest Single Fluke: 15% (Estimated $1,500 based on 60% participation)
1st Place Heaviest 2 Slot Fish: 25% (Estimated $2,500 based on 60% participation)
2nd Place Heaviest 2 Slot Fish: 15% (Estimated $1,500 based on 60% participation)
1st Place Heaviest Sea Robin: 20% (Estimated $2,000 based on 60% participation)
