Fish of the Month
Fish of the month will wrap up in 2021 with December Blackfish. WE WILL NOT OFFER THE CONTEST FROM JANUARY TO MARCH OF 2022.
ALL CURRENT RECURRING MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DURING THIS TIME.
General Rules
Only paid members are eligible to fish. You are not able to weigh fish caught prior to the payment of your membership.
All fish must be caught by rod and reel by the angler, unassisted. Anglers can land the fish in any NJ waterway, from land, shore, jetty or a boat leaving from and returning to a NJ port.
Eligible catches must be photographed as soon possible, ideally on the water but no later than 24 hours from the catch. Fish must be brought weighed and submitted within 48 hours of the catch. Fish can be weighed at any NJ tackle shop or marina with a certified scale.
A weigh slip must be filled out completely and photographed, the weigh shop will keep the original weigh slip.
To submit your catch, you will need to submit the following items via email within 48 hours:
a photograph of yourself with the fish
an unobstructed photograph of the fish on the scale
a photograph of the weigh slip.
**Items (1) and (2) can be combined in a single photo.
