Superpool Rules and Info

Cost: $285 per angler + $15 processing fee
Total Charge: $300 per person

What’s Included:
– Boat fare
– Mate gratuity
– Entry into the Superpool

Boat Information:
Captain Sam Rescigno’s Mary M IV is docked at Lighthouse Marina, located on 6th Street in Barnegat Light, NJ.

Parking:
Free parking is available in the lot across from the boat and Jen’s Links mini golf. Please unload your gear, then move your vehicle to this lot.

Arrival & Boarding Process:
Check-in begins at 5:30 AM. There is no need to arrive hours in advance.
– Anglers may not board the boat before check-in is complete.
– Boarding order will be determined randomly using an automated number generator at check-in.
– When your name is called, you may board the vessel and place one rod in an empty rod holder.
– You must leave one empty rod holder between each placed rod to allow spacing.
– Open fishing spots are determined by available empty rod holders.
– The drift side will be designated to ensure all anglers can fish from the same side of the boat.

Gear Restrictions:
Anglers may bring up to 3 rods.
Jigs and Gulp are not provided.
– Anglers are expected to be mostly self-sufficient.

Prizes & Payouts:
Four prizes of $285 will be awarded to the anglers who catch the first four keeper fluke. (An angler may win more than once.)
$1,500 will be awarded to the angler with the heaviest fluke of the day.
– A balance scale will be used onboard; if the result is close or tied, the fish will be re-weighed on a digital scale at the dock.
– In the event of an exact tie, the prize money will be split evenly.

Optional High Roller Pools:
– Two optional cash pools will be collected during the ride out: $50 and $100 entry levels.
– 100% of the money collected in each pool goes to the angler with the heaviest fluke.

Note: Prizes are based on 20 anglers. If the trip does not sell out, prizes will be adjusted proportionally to the number of participants.

Weather & Cancellation Policy:
This is a live event, and all sales are final.
– The event runs rain or shine, but in the event of unsafe or severely unfavorable conditions, the trip may be cancelled.
– A full refund will be issued if the trip is cancelled.
– Final weather determination will be made by 7:00 PM the evening before the trip.
– In case of cancellation, anglers will be notified via email and phone by 8:00 PM the night before.
