Official Rules and Info

Anglers must arrive to the boat for checkin before 5:30am. No anglers will be permitted on the boat prior to check in. Anglers will board the vessel in a randomly drawn order. Anglers arriving after 5:30 am will board last. The boat departs promptly at 6am, Anglers who have not arrived AND boarded by that time will forfeit their fare and entry and the boat will depart without them.

All sales are final. In the event of unsafe sailing conditions the trip will be called by 7pm the night before. Refunds for weather cancelations will be processed within 3-5 days.

Boarding and Fishing

Anglers may take one rod to the rail and choose any available rod holder. (There must be at least one empty rod holder in between you and another claimed spot.). This will be your starting location for each drop. Once fishing has commenced at a drop you are allowed to move around the boat, an open rod holder designates an open spot. You must reset your starting location for each drop.

Fishing will begin with an announcement at the first drop. No lines may enter the water prior to this announcement. If a line enters the water prior, the angler may be disqualified. First keeper prizes will be announced as they are caught. All fish lengths must be confirmed by the Mate on the boat.

Anglers are limited to 3 rods per person, only one may be at the rail at any time.

Please bring a fish receptacle for your catch.

Payout Info - $3,000 PAID OUT

DAILY:

$100 will be paid to the anglers who catch the first 20 keepers of the trip.

$1,000 will be paid to the angler who catches the most legal size black fish.

All keepers will be confirmed by the mate and anglers will receive a marker for each fish caught. Markers will be collected in exchange for cash at the end of the trip.

$50 optional cash pool for largest blackfish. We will do the pool by length if anyone in contention wishes to release their catch.

**All prizes are based on these events selling out. If the trips do not reach the maximum number of entrants (20), prize amounts are subject to change. All sales are final. NO REFUNDS UNLESS THE TRIP IS CANCELLED. All weather decisions will be made by 7pm prior to the night of the trip.

Cost: $320 - Includes, Boat Fare + Gratuity, entry into high hook super pool. Green Crabs and White Crabs will be provided.

*Anglers may provide their own additional baits without restrictions.

Official Rules and Tournament Information

Check-In and Departure

  • Check-in begins at 5:00 AM. All anglers must be checked in no later than 5:30 AM.

  • No anglers will be permitted to board the vessel prior to check-in.

  • Anglers will board the vessel in randomly drawn order. Any angler arriving after 5:30 AM will board last.

  • The boat departs promptly at 6:00 AM. If you are not on board by departure time, your fare and entry will be forfeited. The boat will not wait.

Weather Policy

  • If the trip must be canceled due to unsafe sailing conditions, anglers will be notified by 7:00 PM the evening prior.

  • In the event of a weather cancellation, refunds will be issued within 3–5 business days.

  • All other sales are final. No refunds unless the trip is canceled.

Onboard Procedures and Fishing Rules

  • Each angler may bring up to three rods, but only one rod may be used at the rail at any given time.

  • You must reset your starting position at each new drop.

  • Fishing begins only after the first official drop is announced by the crew. No lines may enter the water prior to this announcement. Early fishing may result in disqualification.

  • All keepers must be verified and measured by the mate. First keeper prizes will be awarded in real time as fish are caught.

  • Please bring a cooler or fish receptacle for your catch.

Tournament Payouts — $3,000 Total Cash Prizes (Based on Sellout)

  • $100 awarded to each of the first 20 anglers to land a legal keeper.

  • $1,000 awarded to the angler with the most legal-size blackfish by the end of the trip.

  • For each confirmed keeper, the mate will issue a marker. Markers will be redeemed for cash at the end of the day.

  • Optional Pool: $50 cash entry for Largest Blackfish (by length). If multiple anglers are in contention and any wish to release their fish, the winner will be determined by length. If the fish in contention for the pool are being harvested the winner will be determined by weight.

Additional Notes

  • Prize amounts are based on a full sellout of 20 anglers. If the event does not sell out, payouts may be adjustedaccordingly.

  • All sales are final. No refunds unless the trip is canceled by the organizer.

  • All final weather decisions will be made no later than 7:00 PM the night before the trip and anglers will be notified by email and phone call.
